Buy the V8875 vintage dress and coat sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. An original 1955 design, it’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. The dress has a close-fitting bodice with side front/side back seams, inside belt, front pleated skirt, side zipper and self belt with buckle. The fitted and flared coat has front extending into back collar, detachable collar, princess darts, hook/eye closure and tie ends. A and B: Front and back cut-in-one with sleeves.

Suggested fabrics: A: Crepe, shantung, tissue taffeta // B: Wool crepe, flannel, worsted. Interfacing: Hair canvas.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: B5 (8-10-12-14-16), F5 (16-18-20-22-24), approx. UK sizes B5 (6 – 12), F5 (12 – 20/22). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: A: 14″ zipper, one 3/4″ buckle without prong, one #3 hook and eye, seam binding, 1 1/4 yds. of 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon // B: One #3 hook and eye, seam binding.
