Buy the V1946 Men’s Jacket sewing pattern from Vogue. It’s perfect for an intermediate/advanced  dressmaker. Loose-fitting, unlined jacket has peaked lapels, shoulder pads, front extending to side back, no side seams, welt pockets inside and outside, double vent back, length variations, interfacing and lined, two-piece sleeves with button vent.
