Buy the Viola Top sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. The crop top is back and more sophisticated than ever. Viola is a nod to the bralette trend but with a gathered flounce at the bottom. It has a nicely fitted bodice, buttons at the back, and is loose and easy at the waist. Is cropped not your thing? Just alter the length of the top and flounce. Viola is the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe – it pairs so stylishly with high-waisted trousers (Babette) and skirts (Ezra), and also looks a treat with a pair of jeans (Ebony).

Suggested fabrics: Viola looks lovely in gingham or a floral print (for example). There are different options you could go for fabric-wise, from seersucker, poplin, and lyocell to linen, satin, or double gauze. Non-stretch knit fabrics are also a good option. If you’d prefer something a little more daring, leatherette or lace is perfect.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 65 – 150 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 50 – 95 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 20 cm; 4 buttons, 1.8 cm diameter.
