Buy the Ulla Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Ulla’s simplicity will turn every head in the room. This fluid calf-length halter dress has a slightly fitted bust and flows gently to the hem. The necklines of the front and back feature gorgeous draping. A lovely effect is created by threading a cloth tie or cord through the neckline’s casing. Add your own personal touch, perhaps a cord in a contrasting colour, a lovely bow with long trailing ribbons, a delicate string of pearls? This understated dress isn’t hard to make, and it’s always stunning whatever length you choose.

Suggested fabrics: Ulla can be made in a woven or a knit fabric, but whatever you choose must have a fluid drape. Stiff fabrics (such as thick denim) with no drape will not give you that lovely flowing effect.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 260 – 400 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 245 – 345 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; cord/cloth tie (this is optional, as you can also use self fabric for the tie and a pattern piece is included for this).

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (39 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets); projector pattern.

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
