Buy the Blair Skirt sewing pattern from True Bias. The Blair Skirt is fitted through the waist and hips and has a straight fit to the hem. It has a button-front opening and belt loops. There are three length options: mini, midi, and maxi. All views have optional pockets with inverted pleats, as well as an optional belt.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Main: Medium weight woven fabrics such as denim, corduroy, linen, and wool.

Lining (for waistband and pockets): Light weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, linen, and quilting cotton.

Main – View A: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.6 yd (1.5 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 yd (1.4 m).

Main – View B: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.1 yd (1.9 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.9 yd (1.7 m).

Main – View C: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 yd (2.3 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.2 yd (2 m).

Lining: All views/widths: 1 – 1.2 yd (0.9 – 1.1 m).

Main – View A: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.6 – 1.9 yd (1.5 – 1.7 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 – 2 yd (1.4 – 1.8 m).

Main – View B: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.1 – 2.5 yd (1.9 – 2.3 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.9 – 2.2 yd (1.7 – 2 m).

Main – View C: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3.3 yd (2.3 – 3 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.2 – 2.5 yd (2 – 2.3 m).

Lining: All views/widths: 1.2 – 1.6 yd (1.1 – 1.5 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 18 or US 14 – 32 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20 or UK 16 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The 14 – 32 block has a slightly more curvy set of dimensions than the 0 – 18 block. The 14 – 32 block has a 1″ larger difference between the waist and hip circumference. Both size ranges are drafted for an average height of 5’5″.

Notions: Medium weight fusible interfacing; 3/4″ buttons: View A = 8 (6 if skipping pockets), View B = 11 (9 if skipping pockets), View C = 14 (12 if skipping pockets) // Optional: belt buckle with 1.5″ opening.
