Buy the Sofi Dress sewing pattern from The Patterns Room. Sofi is an easy-to-wear shift dress. It falls almost straight from the shoulders, has bust darts and back waist darts, and closes with an invisible zipper at the centre back. There is the option to sew it with a collar, and you can choose from three sleeve lengths.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight fabrics, preferably with some stretch for comfort. Try stretch woven cotton, ponte di roma, gabardine, brocade or crepe.

Fabric requirements: If your fabric has a print or nap, you may need more.

Short sleeves: 150 cm (59″) wide fabric: 1.2 – 1.6 m (47.3″ – 63″).

Long sleeves: 150 cm (59″) wide fabric: 1.5 – 1.95 m (59″ – 76.8″).

Sizing: 10 – 18 (approx. UK 8 – 14, based on our standardised size chart) or 20 – 28 (approx. UK 16 – 24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Invisible zipper, 40 cm (15.7″); interfacing.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions in English and Greek; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (24 pages for sizes 10-18 or 30 pages for sizes 20-28); A0-wide copy shop pattern (1 long sheet for sizes 10-18 or 1 long sheet for sizes 20-28). This pattern has layers so you can choose which size(s) to print.
