The Maker's Atelier Drawstring-neck Dress and Top

Buy the Drawstring-neck Dress and Top sewing pattern from The Maker’s Atelier. A fluid, easy-to-wear shape with the body and sleeve cut as one. It has an elasticated drawstring detail at the neck and elasticated gathered cuffs. The dress can be belted at the hip, waist or not at all.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Fluid drapey fabrics, woven or jersey, viscose mixes, silks and crepes.

Fabric requirements: 

Top: 120/150 cm wide fabric: 1.5 m.

Dress: 120/150 cm wide fabric: 2.5 m.

Sizing: 8 – 18 (approx. UK 8 – 16/18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1 m elasticated cord; 80 cm of 1 cm wide non-roll elastic; 4 cm square of fusible interlining // For woven fabrics: 80 cm of 1 cm wide bias binding.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (30 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: No // Projector file: No. Please note you must print all sizes to ensure no pieces or markings are lost.
