Buy the Talam Jumpsuit sewing pattern from Sew Liberated. The Talam Jumpsuit is loungewear with a creative vibe. Featuring deep, functional pockets and pants that flow through the waist and hips yet taper in like leggings at the calves, you’ll feel fabulous on the town wearing stompy boots or in your bare feet at a gentle yoga class.

The fitted calves can be worn scrunched up for a casual look or straight for warmth on a chilly day. The lined crossover bodice has a gorgeous V-neck that secures with a wrap-around waist tie, and either long or short sleeves.

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid-weight knit fabric with a nice drape. Choose a fabric that has good recovery. Look for fibres like bamboo, viscose and modal. A jersey is a good option for warmer weather, and lightweight sweater knits or merino jersey would be a nice option for cooler weather. Choose a weight between 4 and 7.5 oz/yd and a minimum 50% crossgrain stretch and 20% lengthwise stretch. If you choose a bulky fabric like stretch velour, lining the bodice with a lighter fabric will be more comfortable and easier to sew than two layers of velour.

View A: 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0 – 22, 4.3 yd (3.9 m) // Sizes 24 – 34, 5 yd (4.6 m).

View B: 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0 – 22, 3.9 yd (3.5 m) // Sizes 24 – 34, 4.6 yd (4.2 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6/8 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 5’5″ (165 cm) and cup size C.

Notions: 5 yd (4.6 m) of 1/4″ (6 mm) lightweight clear elastic. Be on the lookout for an elastic that is not too firm or thick.
