Buy the Spirren Tank sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. A nice tank top is an indispensable part of any wardrobe. Not only can you wear it by itself in the summer, but it’s also great for layering under a cardigan or jacket. The Spirren is partially lined and features a curved V neck, gathers at the shoulders and pleats under the bust. This fitted tank is designed for knit fabric and comes with regular and full bust options.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

If ordering a copy shop pattern, please choose from the following options: sizes 00-20 with a regular bust, sizes 00-20 with a full bust, sizes 16-40 with a regular bust, sizes 16-40 with a full bust.

Suggested fabrics: Use medium-weight knit fabric with good recovery, and with 50% horizontal and vertical stretch, such as cotton spandex jersey, poly spandex jersey and interlock. This fabric is also used for the front partial lining.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 7/8 – 1 3/4 yd (80 – 160 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3″ (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3″ (7.5 cm), use the full bust.

Notions: 2.8 yd (2.6 m) of 3/8″ (1 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain).
