Buy the S9664 Dog Harness and Leash sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Lined, lightly padded harnesses with parachute clip closures, D-ring for leash attachment and edges finished with purchased binding have adjustable webbing straps at chest for a comfortable fit. 2″ (5cm) wide leash has snap hook, bound edges and looped handle. Harnesses and leashes have chain, decorative braid and fabric flower trim options.

Suggested fabrics: A, B, C, E in Cotton Types, Twill, Brocade, Velveteen, Faux Leather, Denim. D and E also in Prequilted Fabrics. Lining: Broadcloth. Interfacing: Medium weight fusible. Padding A,B,C: Fleece (for E: Padding is optional).

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: OS (ONE SIZE). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C,D: One pkg. of 1/2″ (1.3cm) double fold bias tape or 2 yds. (1.8m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) foldover braid, four 1″ (2.5cm) parachute clips and two 1″ (2.5cm) slide buckles, 2 3/8 yds. (2.2m) of 1″ (2.5cm) webbing, one 1″ (2.5cm) webbing, one 1″ (2cm) D-Ring. Also for B: 1 5/8 yds. (1.5m) of 5/8″ (1.5cm) flexible braid. Also for C. Three 3/4″ (2cm) button forms to cover.
