Buy the S9661 Children’s Knit Tops, Overalls, and Pinafore  sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for a beginner dressmaker. Pullover knit tops have back button and loop closure and shoulder ruffles, and can be sleeveless or made with long sleeves. Step-in overalls and pinafore have anchored drawstring forming straps and side bow, relaxed fit pants, and gathered knee length skirt. Matching doll clothes included.

Suggested fabrics: A,B in stretch knits only such as jersey, interlock. C,D in cotton types, linen types, pinwale corduroy, lightweight denim, sweatshirt fleece. Interfacing: Lightweight fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (3-4-5-6-7-8) Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: One 3/8″ (1cm) button for child, 5″ (12.5cm) long x 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide hook and loop tape for doll. Also for A: 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape: 5/8 yd. (0.6m) for child, 3/8 yd. (0.4m) for doll. Also for B: 1/2″ (1.3cm) single fold bias tape: 1 3/8 yds. (1.3m) for child, 3/4 yd. (0.7m) for doll.
