Buy the Ella Dress sewing pattern from Silversaga Patterns. Ella embodies modern romance and timeless elegance. There are two bodice options. View A has a plunging neckline, while View B has an adjustable neckline with a slightly higher cut. The sweeping, maxi length skirt is partially cut on the bias for beautiful movement. Choose between three sleeve styles to complete your dress: long voluminous sleeves, short puff sleeves, or flutter sleeves. All variations include an underarm gusset for comfort and mobility. The dress closes with an invisible zipper at the back. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully balanced, Ella transitions effortlessly from everyday wear to special occasions.

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight to mid-weight woven fabrics that offer softness and drape while maintaining some structure. Ideal choices include linen, cotton and block prints. Fabrics with more drape (such as rayon/viscose or tencel) will create a softer silhouette. Note that using linen may increase the difficulty level of this pattern, as linen tends to fray easily and can stretch or "grow" during sewing.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 3.41 - 4.25 m (3.73 - 4.65 yd).

Sizing: EU 34 – 54 (approx. UK 8 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 165 cm (5'5") with an A/B cup.
