Buy the Unisex Drew Hoodie sewing pattern from Sew Over It. This design has a slightly oversized fit that suits all genders and is perfect as activewear or loungewear. Drew features a front pocket to keep your hands warm and a classic waistband and cuffs. The hood is lined and is tightened with a drawstring. You can choose to use eyelets or just make buttonholes to feed the drawstring through. The instructions include mock flat felled seams for a nice ready-to-wear finish that can be achieved with a regular sewing machine. No overlocker needed!

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight knit fabrics such as cotton sweatshirting, cotton fleece, polar fleece, french terry, ponte di roma and double knits with at least 15% stretch. You can use ribbing for the cuffs and hem.

Fabric requirements: 

Sizes 6 – 20

1.40 m wide fabric: 2.8 – 3.5 m.

Optional tubular ribbing (0.35 m wide): 0.4 – 0.6 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

1.40 m wide fabric: 3.5 – 4.0 m.

Optional tubular ribbing (0.35 m wide): 0.6 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements. This pattern is split into two different blocks.

Notions: Small scrap of knit interfacing; 1.3 m of cord; two eyelets for the cord (optional).
