Buy the Penny Dress Add-on Pack sewing pattern from Sew Over It. This add-on pack includes new pattern pieces and detailed instructions to help you make three new garments from your Penny Dress pattern!

Make Penny into a tie-front blouse to wear over jeans, or add the tie detail to the dress for an on-trend look. You can even turn Penny into a stylish playsuit featuring a comfy elasticated waist, concealed button fly, turn-up hems at the legs and roomy slanted pockets. All three versions will fit perfectly into your summer wardrobe!

The add-on pack includes the following pattern pieces plus instructions:

– Penny Tie-Front Blouse: front bodice and front facing pieces
– Penny Tie-Front Dress: front bodice and front facing pieces
– Penny Playsuit: front bodice, front facing, trouser and pocket pieces

Note: This is not a complete pattern. You must already own the original Penny Dress pattern to use this add-on pack. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so here.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). Choose sizes 6 – 20 or sizes 18 – 30. What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woven fabric with drape, such as rayon, crepe or georgette, and lightweight cottons such as lawn or voile, linen or seersucker.

Sizes 6 – 20

Version 1+: 1.40 m wide fabric: 3.4 – 3.8 m.

Version 2+: 1.15 m wide fabric: 2.6 – 2.9 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.2 – 2.4 m.

Version 3+: 1.15 m wide fabric: 1.7 – 1.8 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.25 – 1.7 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

Version 1+: 1.40 m wide fabric: 4.2 m.

Version 2+: 1.15 m wide fabric (sizes 18-26 only): 3.0 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.5 – 3.0 m.

Version 3+: 1.15 m wide fabric: 2.4 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.9 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.

Notions: 0.6 m of interfacing; three 8 mm buttons // V1+ and V2+: 1.5 m of 1 cm wide elastic // V2+: three additional 8 mm buttons; small hook and eye/press stud.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (39 pages for sizes 6-20, 50 pages for sizes 18-30); US letter print-at-home pattern (39 pages for sizes 6-20, 51 pages for sizes 18-30); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 6-20, 3 sheets for sizes 18-30).
