Buy the Jessie Coatigan Add-on Lining sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Jessie Coatigan is one of Sew Over It’s most popular patterns, a great introduction to coat-making and a cosy addition to your wardrobe. With the Jessie Coatigan Add-on Lining, you can line Jessie to make a fully-formed coat.

The instructions will guide you through every step of constructing and attaching the lining, including some couture-inspired techniques to give your coat a beautiful finish. The add-on also includes notes on how to add a lining to a Jessie Coatigan you’ve already made!

The add-on includes the following pattern pieces, plus instructions:

– front lining
– back lining
– sleeve lining
– front hem facing
– back hem facing

Note: This is not a complete pattern. You must already own the original Jessie Coatigan pattern to use this add-on. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so here.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). Choose sizes 6-20 or sizes 18-30. What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing for sizes 18-30: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: For lining your Jessie Coatigan, you’ll want to choose something fairly lightweight, such as a traditional lining fabric in acetate or polyester, or you can use a viscose for a greater choice in prints. For your hem facing pieces, you’ll want to use the same fabric as you’ve chosen for the outer of your Jessie Coatigan.
