Buy the Phen Wrap Pants sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. Phen is a balloon leg wrap pant closed with a knot at the waist, wrapping nicely around the hips. Two front darts and four back darts hug your silhouette. Sew these versatile pants in silk and wear them with heels for a classy night out, or make them in linen and wear them with your favourite clogs for a bohemian summer vibe.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabric such as linen or ramie. Avoid fabric that is too fluid such as rayon or fabric that is too stiff and/or rigid like denim. The pattern was drafted with linen or a linen/cotton blend in mind.

Fabric requirements:

Printed fabric: 145 cm wide fabric: Range 1 (sizes 32-46), 230 cm // Range 2 (sizes 46-54), 320 cm // Range 2 (sizes 55-60), 430 cm.

Plain fabric: 145 cm wide fabric: Range 1 (sizes 32-46), 230 cm // Range 2 (sizes 46-54), 290 cm // Range 2 (sizes 55-60), 330 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 46 and EU 46 – 60 (approx. UK 6/8 – 14/16 and UK 18 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. Range 1 (32-46) is based on a height of 167 cm and a B cup. Range 2 (46-60) is based on a height of 168 cm and a D cup.
