Petits D'om Child/Teen Zen Pants

Buy the Child/Teen Zen Pants sewing pattern from Petits D'om. These long or cropped jersey pants are perfect for everyday wear, lounging or sports. The pants are fitted around the hips and have straight legs. The waistband is wide and comfortable and can be single-layer or folded over. The cropped version has hem bands just below the knees.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton/elastane jersey (5-8% elastane) is recommended. 100% cotton jersey should be avoided because of its poor recovery. Viscose jersey should also be avoided for the folded waistband.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (58″) wide fabric: Long pants, 65 - 110 cm (3/4 - 1 1/4 yd) // Cropped pants, 40 - 75 cm (1/2 - 3/4 yd).

Waistband and hem bands: 140 cm (58") wide fabric: 25 - 40 cm (1/4 - 1/2 yd).

Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Elastic for single-layer waistband (no elastic required for folded waistband), 2-3 cm (3/4"-1 1/8") wide, 48-73 cm (18 7/8"-28 3/4") // Optional: ribbed trim for hems on cropped pants, 44-65 cm (17 3/8"-25 5/8").
