Paulette is a beautiful vintage and feminine dress or blouse for big (and small) occasions. The pattern features a maxi Peter Pan collar, a sexy front keyhole, cap sleeves, and a gathered skirt, and it is pregnancy friendly thanks to its beautiful empire line. It closes on the side with an invisible zipper.

Suggested fabrics: Main: Lightweight fabric with a good amount of drape like crepe, viscose, rayon, cotton lawn or cotton sateen // Lining (used to line the bodice, and if your main fabric is slightly too thick, you should also use it for the under collar): Lightweight and stable fabric like cotton voile.

Fabric requirements:

Main: Dress: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.50 m (2 3/4 yd) / 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 2.70 m (3 yd) // Blouse: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.70 m (1 7/8 yd) / 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 1.90 m (2 yd).

Lining: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 50 cm (1/2 yd) + 30 cm (3/8 yd) for the under collar if needed // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 80 cm (7/8 yd).

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 8 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: A concealed zip, approx. 30-40 cm (12″-16″) long; interfacing lighter than the fabric for the under collar, 40 x 70 cm (3/8 x 3/4 yd); 1-2 cm wide bias binding, 2 x 40 cm (16″) (you might need less depending on your size) cut in the main fabric, in the lining fabric or in another fabric of your choice (or it can be pre-made bias binding); a 0.7 cm (3/8″) wide button to close the collar if that is your chosen option (the other option is to close the collar with ties).

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions with detailed hand-painted illustrations; A4 pattern (24 pages); US letter pattern (26 pages); A0 pattern (2 sheets). This PDF has layers, so you can select your size(s) before printing.
