Buy the Flora Tank and Dress sewing pattern from Pattern Scout. Flora is an easy summer tank or dress with a series of wide tucks across the bodice and a flowy skirt. Simple straps tie at the shoulders to customise the neckline fit, with the choice of narrow spaghetti-style straps or wider straps for a more bra-friendly option. Versatile enough to wear as a casual day dress, date night outfit, or swimsuit cover-up, Flora will be your go-to summer frock.

Version A is a cropped tank. Version B is a mini dress (hemmed above the knee). Version C is a midi dress (hemmed above the ankle).

Suggested fabrics: Woven (non-stretch) lightweight fabrics with a soft hand and fluid drape, such as rayon or viscose challis, and linen.

Fabric requirements: If using a directional print or pattern matching (with stripes, plaids, etc.) additional yardage may be required.

Sizing: US 0 – 30 with B, C and D cups (approx. UK 6/8 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Choose your size based on your HIGH BUST measurement. Then find your FULL BUST measurement in the size chart to determine which cup size (B, C or D) to sew. If your FULL BUST measurement is greater than the D cup size, the designer recommends selecting the next size up.
