Buy the Papao Wrap Pants sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. Inspired by Indian and Thai wrap pants, Papao is an asymmetric peg pant with a unique wrap closure and a slightly cropped leg. It can be sewn with or without pockets. Because Papao does not require any closures (no zipper, buttons or snaps!), it’s an ideal project for motivated beginners.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). Choose sizes 32-46 or sizes 46-58. What is Copy Shop?

Note: In the A0 version for sizes 46-58, pattern pieces overlap. If you choose copy shop printing, we will send you extra copies of the pattern sheet so you do not need to trace.

Suggested fabrics: Light denim, twill, canvas, gabardine, medium weight linen or medium weight wovens such as cotton or wool flannel, chambray, poplin. Avoid very fluid fabrics such as tencel and rayon.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Range 1 (sizes 32-46), 220 – 240 cm // Range 2 (sizes 46-58), 270 – 290 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 46 and EU 46 – 58 (approx. UK 6/8 – 14/16 and UK 18 – 30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. Range 1 (32-46) is based on a height of 167 cm and a B cup. Range 2 (46-58) is based on a height of 168 cm and a D cup.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (56 pages for sizes 32-46, 70 pages for sizes 46-58); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 32-46, 3 sheets for sizes 46-58) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
