Buy the Olive Dress sewing pattern from Untitled Thoughts. This is the Olive Jumpsuit transformed into an easy-going dress, perfect for all seasons depending on how you style it! The Olive Dress features two skirt options (below the knee length and tea length with a ruffle) and two open back options (strapless bra friendly and a dramatically low back). It has in-seam pockets and an optional waist tie and belt loops.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics:

Main: For cool climates/weather, tropical weight wool, wool suiting, silk noil, silk charmeuse, flannel. For warm climates/weather, linen, double gauze, cotton voile, chambray.

Lining: Lightweight fabric that feels nice against your skin.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: Dress without ruffle, 1 3/8 – 2 3/8 yd (1.3 – 2.2 m) // Dress with ruffle and waist tie, 2 3/4 – 3 3/4 yd (2.5 – 3.4 m).

Lining: 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m).

Sizing: A – H with B and DD cups (approx. UK 6 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Twill tape, clear elastic, or interfacing (optional).
