Buy the Baby/Child Nature Walk Pullover and Knit Pants sewing pattern from Oliver + S. Let’s take a stroll outside. This boy’s or girl’s casual pull-on top and knit pants pattern features an easy-to-sew, casual, colour-blocked pullover designed to be sewn in woven fabrics. The top can be made in lightweight fabrics for a casual shirt or in heavier fabrics for use as a layering piece in place of a sweatshirt or jacket. The pull-on knit pants have a hidden elastic waist and are designed for knits with at least 25% stretch.

Suggested fabrics: Pullover Fabric A: light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, poplin, shirting, corduroy, denim; and stretch fabrics like interlock, fleece, and microfleece // Pullover Fabric B: lightweight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, shirting, and poplin // Pants: interlock, jersey, textured knits, lightweight double knits, matte jersey (the fabric should have at least 25% stretch).

Fabric requirements: 44″ – 45″ (112 – 114 cm) wide woven fabric; 60″ (152 cm) wide knit fabric:
6 months – 4 years: View A, Fabric A, 3/4 – 1 yard (0.7 – 0.9 m) // View A, Fabric B, 3/4 – 1 yard (0.7 – 0.9 m) // View B, 3/4 yard (0.7 m).

5 – 12 years: View A, Fabric A, 1 – 1 1/4 yards (0.9 – 1.2 m) // View A, Fabric B, 1 – 1 1/4 yards (0.9 – 1.2 m) // View B, 1 – 1 1/4 yards (0.9 – 1.2 m).

Sizing: 6 months – 4 years and 5 – 12 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread, lightweight fusible interfacing // Pants: 1 yard of 3/4″ elastic.
