Buy the Verso Trousers and Shorts sewing pattern from Named. Verso is a classic and timeless trouser pattern that includes two variations: straight-leg cropped trousers, and shorts with small side slits. Both variations have a high waist, discreet invisible side zipper, and angular patch pockets that can be sewn on the front or back.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

Suggested fabrics: Choose a lightweight trouser fabric for either variation. Your fabric can have a touch of drape, and a little bit of stretch, but the stretch percentage should be less than 5%.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.

Trousers: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 125 – 225 cm (1 3/8 – 2 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 185 – 250 cm (2 – 2 3/4 yd).

Shorts: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 70 – 115 cm (3/4 – 1 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 80 – 140 cm (7/8 – 1 1/2 yd).

Sizing: EU 32 – 56 (approx. UK 6 – 28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Fusible interfacing, 20 cm (1/4 yd); 20 cm (8″) invisible zipper; a hook and eye.
