Buy the Men’s Christian Jacket sewing pattern from Vikisews. Christian is a men’s semi-fitted shirt jacket with a straight silhouette and a slightly dropped shoulder line. The two-piece long shirt sleeve features a slit with a placket down the elbow seam. The sleeves are finished with snapped cuffs. The front pieces have flapped gusset pockets at the chest and single-welt pockets on the sides. The back of the shirt jacket features a yoke. The shirt collar has a collar stand. The garment fastens with snaps at the centre front placket. The jacket is insulated and fully lined, has a curved hem and is mid-hip length.

Suggested fabrics: Outerwear fabrics, such as gabardine, Dewspo, Taslan, membrane fabrics, taffeta, etc.

For the lining, the designer recommends artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester) or synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane).

For the insulation, use polyester batting, such as Thinsulate, Alpolux, Isosoft 100 gsm, etc.

The garment in the photos is made of outerwear fabric. This fabric is medium weight and non-stretch. The fibre content is 100% polyester. The fibre content of the lining is a blend of viscose and polyester. The insulation used is Sintepon 100 gsm.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print: 1.89 – 2.44 m (2 1/8 – 2 5/8 yd) // 150 cm (59″) wide fabric, with a directional print: 1.76 – 2.1 m (1 7/8 – 2 1/4 yd).

Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.62 – 1.69 m (1 3/4 – 1 7/8 yd).

Sizing: Men’s 38 – 54. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 2 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′)
Height 3 = 186 – 192 cm (6’1″ – 6’3″)
Height 4 = 194 – 200 cm (6’4″ – 6’7″)

Model Danil: Height 184 cm (6’) / Chest 100 cm (39 3/8″) / Waist 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Hips 105 cm (41 3/8″). Danil is wearing size 44 in height 2.

Note: Your PDF pattern will include all 4 height options. Before cutting, please double check you are using the correct option for your height. For example, to make size 54 in height 4, choose the files labelled ’54-4′.
