Buy the Collage Gather Dress sewing pattern from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club. The Collage Gather Dress has a relaxed boxy fit with soft gathers on the sides for a little extra shape and movement. The dress has hidden in-seam pockets and comes with multiple dress lengths marked directly on the pattern from mini to maxi. Designed to be sewn as a patchwork or with a single fabric, it is fun to sew, easily customisable and comes together quickly.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics.

Fabric requirements: Not cutting on the fold and piecing together bias will reduce yardage.

32″ (81 cm) length: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3.5 yd (2.3 – 3.2 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 3 yd (1.9 – 2.8 m).

50″ (127 cm) length: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 4 – 5 yd (3.7 – 4.6 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.75 – 4.5 yd (2.6 – 4.2 m).

Sizing: XXS – 6XL (approx. UK 6 – 38, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The Collage Gather Dress is drafted for a 5’5″ (165 cm) height. Chelsea (short hair) is 5’5″ and Morgan is 5’9″. Both are wearing a size small.
