Buy the Cicadella Blouse sewing pattern from Maison Fauve. The Cicadella Blouse is a timeless, feminine design shaped with princess seams. It features a scooped neckline, and the long sleeves are embellished with beautiful cuffs. The pattern features a very high level of finishing adapted to openwork fabrics, with the option to fully line the bodice, flat felled seams on the bodice and sleeves, and neckline and armhole seams trimmed with bias tape.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium-weight fabrics (80-200 g/m²) with more or less structure depending on the look you want. Viscose, soft jacquard, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin or twill. For lined versions, choose beautiful lace or guipure, with matching cotton voile for the lining.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Long sleeve blouse, 140 – 180 cm // Elbow sleeve blouse, 100 – 150 cm // Short sleeve blouse, 100 – 140 cm // Lining, 80 – 120 cm.

Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: 40 cm of iron-on interfacing; 6 buttons, 10-12 mm diameter.
