Buy the Kyoto Dress sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. The smooth lines of this body-grazing, semifitted, V-neck dress are both elegant and contemporary. Details include a curved waist seam, front and back darts for shaping, an inverted box pleat at the centre-front skirt, and short- and long-sleeve options. This pattern includes cup sizes and an invisible zipper at the back.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight woven fabrics with a little drape, like linen, rayon, soft cottons, and sateen.

Fabric requirements: 

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 3 yd (2.5 – 2.7 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 – 2 3/4 yd (1.6 – 2.5 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/2 – 3 3/4 yd (3.2 – 3.4 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 – 3 yd (2.3 – 2.7 m).

Sizing: 0 – 20 with A/B, C and D cups (approx. UK 8 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

To determine cup size, subtract upper bust measurement from full bust measurement. Up to 2″ difference = A/B cup, 3″ = C cup, 4″ = D cup.

Notions: Lightweight fusible interfacing; one 22″ invisible zipper.
