Suggested fabrics: 

Fabric A (main outer fabric): Natural fabrics. Medium/heavy weight. Canvas, linen, quilting cotton, twill, duck, denim, thin tweed, Tana lawn (with interlining).

Fabric B (lining fabric): Can be the same as Fabric A or D. Natural fabrics. Light/medium weight. Tana lawn, cotton, linen, bamboo, quilting cotton, twill, canvas, drill. The lining can be used alone, be quilted or have iron-on interfacing.

Fabric C (interlining fabric, optional): Natural fabrics. Hampton cotton, cambric cotton, light calico.

Fabric D (contrasting fabric): Tana lawn, linen, light/medium weight cotton, quilting cotton. Interline if the fabric is very fine.

Fabric F (wadding or interfacing): Quilting wadding (wool, bamboo, cotton) or fusible interfacing.

Fabric requirements: The lengths are generous for some of the fabrics (quantities rounded up).

Fabric A: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1 m (40″).

Fabric B: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1 m (40″).

Fabric C: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: The same length as the fabric piece(s) you are interlining.

Fabric D: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 50 cm (20″).

Fabric F: 115 cm (44″) wide wadding: 50 cm (20″).

Sizing: Circumference: 60 cm (approx. 24″) // Height: 30 cm (approx. 12″) // Back strap length: 71 cm (approx. 28″) // Grab handle: 18 cm (approx. 7″).

Capacity: 4 x 50 g balls of yarn with a small project on top, plus your tools, phone, needles and hooks in the pockets around the full inside circumference of the bag.

Notions: 4 mm woven cotton cord for drawstring, 1.27 m (50″) (can also use 1 cm grosgrain or similar ribbon, 0.5 cm leather, 3 mm laces, 1 cm herringbone tape, 0.5 cm handmade fabric ribbon); 19 mm herringbone tape for loops, 10-50 cm (4″-20″) (can also use any similar width ribbon).
