Buy the Kingsly Top sewing pattern from Sew Over It. Whether you’re into running, yoga, zumba or just dancing round your living room, add some me-made activewear to your handmade wardrobe! Kingsly features a breezy fit, pretty curved neckline extending into a sporty racerback, and a dramatic dipped hem at the front and back which rises at the side seam.

As well as a sporty, scooped-out shape, the back has a separate gathered panel, adding a lovely bit of detail and potential for some fun colour blocking. The gathering also adds to the flowing fit, keeping you comfy and cool while you work out.

Topstitched binding at the neckline and armholes finishes the raw edges and creates a professional looking garment that’ll make you look as good as your post-exercise endorphin-filled self feels!

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight activewear knit fabrics such as polyester/spandex or polyester/elastane blends, 4 way stretch or Lycra.

Fabric requirements:

Sizes 6 – 20

1.15 m wide fabric: 1.0 – 1.75 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.0 – 1.75 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

1.15 m wide fabric: 1.9 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 1.9 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (16 pages for sizes 6-20, 16 pages for sizes 18-30); US letter print-at-home pattern (16 pages for sizes 6-20, 16 pages for sizes 18-30); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet for sizes 6-20, 1 sheet for sizes 18-30).
