Buy the Jamie Cardigan sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. With a modern, casual, oversized fit, Jamie is your closet’s new best friend. The pattern features a deep V-neck, dropped bishop sleeves, and a gathered hem. The relaxed silhouette can be effortlessly dressed up or down making it an essential for every wardrobe.

Version 1 hits at the low hip and has two front patch pockets. Version 2 hits between the waist and high hip.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight fabrics such as sweater knit, french terry, sweatshirting, polar fleece, rib knit and boucle. The main cardigan can be sewn up in stretch or non-stretch fabric. The bindings require at least 15% stretch. You can use the same fabric for both or use a contrasting fabric for the bindings.

Fabric requirements:

Version 1: 145 cm wide fabric: Sizes 32-46, 150 cm // Sizes 48-52, 200 cm.

Version 2: 145 cm wide fabric: Sizes 32-46, 120 cm // Sizes 48-52, 170 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 52 (approx. UK 4/6 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

This pattern was drafted for a height of 165 cm and a B cup.

Notions: 30 cm of fusible interfacing; four 23-25 mm buttons.
