Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, shirting, quilting cotton, flannel, double gauze and viscose (rayon).

Fabric requirements: 

140 cm (56″) wide fabric: Shorts, 1 – 1.2 m (1 1/8 – 1 3/8 yd) // Full-length trousers, 2.1 – 2.6 m (2 3/8 – 2 7/8 yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: Shorts, 1 – 1.3 m (1 1/8 – 1 1/2 yd) // Full-length trousers, 2.5 – 3.1 m (2 3/4 – 3 3/8 yd).

Sizing: UK 4 – 34. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Your low waist measurement in 25 mm (1″) wide elastic; 2 large safety pins // Drawstring version: small scrap of iron-on interfacing.
