The Tustin has a unique waist tie that emerges from the centre front, creating lovely yet flexible shaping. With two sleeve length options, you can wear the Tustin year-round. The pattern also includes regular and full bust options for a beautiful fit!

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

If ordering a copy shop pattern, please choose from the following options: sizes 00-20 with a regular bust, sizes 00-20 with a full bust, sizes 16-40 with a regular bust, sizes 16-40 with a full bust.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Use medium weight knit fabric with about 50% horizontal stretch and good recovery, such as interlock, ponte, cotton Lycra jersey and double-brushed poly.

Fabric requirements: 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: Long sleeve, 2 3/8 – 3 1/2 yd (220 – 320 cm) // Short sleeve, 2 3/8 – 3 1/8 yd (220 – 290 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3″ (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3″ (7.5 cm), use the full bust.

Notions: 1 yd/m of 3/8″ or 1/2″ (1 cm or 1.25 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or you may cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain); two pieces of 2″ x 2″ (5 cm x 5 cm) lightweight knit or tricot fusible interfacing.
