Suggested fabrics: Use bottom-weight woven fabric with minimal to no stretch, such as denim, twill, corduroy and heavy-weight linen.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: Knee length, 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 yd (140 – 160 cm) // Ankle length, 2 1/8 – 3 1/4 yd (190 – 290 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lightweight fusible woven or weft insertion interfacing; one 8″ (20 cm) or longer metal or nylon coil zipper; one size 0 or 1 hook and eye closure; 3/8″ (1 cm)-wide twill tape as long as the narrowest part of your waist (or where you want your skirt to sit).
