Buy the Auvers Top sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. The Auvers Top is designed for very lightweight woven fabric. In the front, two halves cross diagonally to create a V neckline. Elastic is applied on the bottom front to create a blouson effect. The back has a shirttail hem. This sleeveless top works beautifully under a jacket or cardigan, but of course it is also great worn on its own, tucked or untucked! The pattern includes regular and full bust options.

If ordering a copy shop pattern, please choose from the following options: sizes 00-20 with a regular bust, sizes 00-20 with a full bust, sizes 16-40 with a regular bust, sizes 16-40 with a full bust.

Suggested fabrics: Use featherweight to very lightweight woven fabric with no stretch such as chiffon, georgette, rayon challis, charmeuse and other silky fabrics. Do not use crisp fabric. The wrong side may be visible so choose a fabric accordingly.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 5/8 – 2 7/8 yd (140 – 260 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3″ (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3″ (7.5 cm), use the full bust.

Notions: One size 00 or 0 sew-on snap fastener (5/16″-11/32″ / 7.9-8.7 mm); 3/8″ (1 cm) wide elastic, 16″-32″ (40.5-81.5 cm).
