The Hello Sailor Top is a free sewing pattern from The Fold Line. A wardrobe staple, this sleeveless top is perfect for pairing with jeans. It's fitted at the bust with armhole darts, but drapes beautifully around the upper hip area. It has a bias ribbon tie detail at the back and slits at the side seams.

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics such as lightweight cotton, cotton lawn, linen, rayon, crepe or georgette.

Fabric requirements: 

115 cm (45") wide fabric: 1.4 m (1.6 yd).

140 cm (55") wide fabric: 0.7 - 1.4 m (0.8 - 1.6 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 24. Please check the size chart.

This pattern is designed for a person 5'6" tall and a cup size C. 

Notions: 3.2 m of shop bought bias tape or a fabric piece measuring 70 cm wide x 60 cm long to make handmade bias tape.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern. Does not include an A0 copy shop file.
