Buy the Giselle Jacket sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Giselle is a comfy knee-length coat with a zip, straight set-in sleeves, and a standing collar. Tighten at the waist or don’t. The sample was sewn in a wonderfully warm quilted fabric – perfect to nestle into. The slits in the side seams give Giselle an elegant touch.

Suggested fabrics: Giselle is a perfect match for padded, quilted, or matelassé fabrics. But you’re perfectly free to ditch the padding for something simpler.

Fabric requirements: 

Fabric 1 (padded fabric): 110 cm wide fabric: 310 – 410 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 205 – 310 cm.

Fabric 2 (unpadded fabric): 110 cm wide fabric: 95 – 155 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 90 – 155 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; 4 snaps, 1.5 cm diameter; open-end zip, 80 cm (XS-XXL) or 90 cm (XXXL); drawstring, 140 – 195 cm; bias tape, folded width 2 cm, 518 – 611 cm.
