Buy the Frida Jacket sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Frida is a classic bomber jacket, livened up with a modern twist. Bomber jackets were once worn exclusively by the military, whereas now it’s impossible to imagine the street scene without them. Which makes sense – it’s the perfect piece for styling in multiple ways. Make the Frida in a fun or chunky fabric, leopard print wool or even a faux fur. Frida will keep you warm and cosy all winter.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Several different fabric types work well when it comes to making the Frida Jacket, from woven wool coating fabric to knit wool (jacquard) jersey. Even sweatshirt fabric, ponte roma, scuba and neoprene all make good alternatives. Satin, embroidered fabrics, faux leather and felt also work – each option lends the jacket a totally different look.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 140 – 175 cm // Cuff fabric (35 cm wide): 35 – 55 cm // Lining fabric: max. 30 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 65 cm; open-end zip, 50 cm for sizes XS-L or 55 cm for sizes XL-XXXL.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (31 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets).

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
