Buy the Cynthia’s Cookie Apron sewing pattern from Folkwear. This apron design was one Cynthia (a longtime Folkwear fan and employee) made from an apron her grandmother made and wore, the pattern for which was originally offered in a 1900s women’s magazine.

Whether baking for the holidays, tidying the house, hanging out the laundry, gardening, or sewing, this apron will make any task a bit more charming. It has built-in straps that cross over in the back and button at the bib. The pocket on the bib is the perfect place to store your eyeglasses, pen, or phone. Simply adjust the stitching to accommodate any object you need to keep handy. The two oversized patch pockets can be made with Cynthia’s grandmother’s own addition, a “tissue” pocket. The usefulness of this little pocket needs no explanation, but it is also a great place to keep rings while cooking or cleaning.
