Buy the Carla Shorts sewing pattern from Fieldwork Patterns. Carla is the perfect shorts style. These simple pull-on shorts have side seam pockets and back patch pockets, an elasticated channel waist with a little “pie crust” edge, and a mock fly front. Wear as summer shorts or comfy sleep shorts.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cottons and cotton mixes, linen and linen mixes, lightweight denims.

Fabric requirements: 

112 cm (44″) wide fabric: S/M/L, 140 cm (55″) // XL/XXL, 160 cm (63″).

140 cm (55″) wide fabric: S/M, 110 cm (43″) // L/XL/XXL, 140 cm (55″).

Sizing: S – XXL (UK 6/8 – 22/24). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Up to 110 cm (43″) of 3.2 cm (1.25″) wide elastic.
