Buy the Joni Blazer sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Fancy a challenge? This project requires some patience, but the result is a gorgeous wear-anywhere blazer that will be a wardrobe staple for years to come. Joni is a loose design with a pronounced shoulder line and soft waistline. This lined, single-breasted blazer has a collar and lapel, two-piece sleeves, back vents, a chest pocket, and welt pockets with flaps.

Note: The double-breasted blazer shown in the line drawings is a hack of the Joni Blazer and Perla Dress patterns. The Joni pattern includes instructions for how to do the hack if already own the Perla pattern, or alternatively you can purchase the Jorla Blazer pattern here.

Suggested fabrics: Many fabrics can be used for this blazer, such as cotton twill, polycotton, denim, linen and woollen fabrics like tweed, flannel and fine virgin wool.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 110 cm wide fabric: 270 – 380 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 205 – 285 cm.

Lining: 110 cm wide fabric: 170 – 260 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 140 – 195 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 235 cm; two 2.5 cm buttons; one pair of shoulder pads; stay tape (see chart).
