Main: Carmen can be made in all kinds of coat fabrics. Woollen fabrics will keep you toasty in the winter. Make Carmen in a solid for a classy look. Or, if you’re feeling daring, go for a bouclé or a plush, long-haired faux fur instead. Intent on being on-trend? Checked fabric or an animal print should be your go-to.

Lining: Lining fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 110 cm wide fabric: 385 – 520 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 280 – 360 cm.

Lining: 110 cm wide fabric: 175 – 355 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 175 – 275 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 310 cm; 2 sew-on snap fasteners, 2.1 cm diameter.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (85 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (5 sheets); projector pattern.

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
