Buy the Amber Top sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. A classic favourite, made by you. You can keep this basic polo very simple, or let it shine in an eye-catching colour or print, or a unique fabric. In any case, it takes little effort to make Amber, with her straight fit and cap sleeves. Only the button-up collar requires a little extra attention, and finishing with bias tape. But can you wear Amber outside a sports club? Of course! With jeans or solid coloured trousers, and equally well with a skirt, shorts, or Bermuda shorts.

Suggested fabrics: There are many choices for Amber, as long as you choose a fabric with enough weight. Piqué (also called polo fabric) is a safe choice, (ribbed) jersey, jacquard jersey, French terry, or interlock. Woven fabrics can also create a nice effect.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 150 – 180 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 90 – 180 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 25 cm; bias tape (4 cm wide, not pre-folded), 41 – 44 cm; 3 buttons, 1.5 cm diameter.
