Buy the Feliz Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Feliz is breezily nonchalant and wonderfully feminine at the same time. This shirt dress is a treat to wear and is guaranteed to land you compliments galore. The gathered skirt features hidden side seam pockets, and the set-in sleeves can be worn long, or rolled up with the nifty sleeve tabs. The neck has a lovely round shape, and the button placket extends to the waist. The chest pockets are a nice detail, but they're not a must. Feliz will be more minimalist without them, but the end look? That stays the max!

Feliz Hack - Fibre Mood

Proud of this as I’ve hacked a couple of patterns together and added some bits to recreate a lovely dress I saw online from the brand Wyse.
The main dress pattern is the  Fibre Mood Feliz dress but I adapted the button placket so I could add the frills down each side. I then added a frill to the collar from the Emma dress by Clematisse Patterns-  which is actually just a rectangular strip doubled over and gathered into a ruffle. And I used the sleeves from the Emma dress too. I also had a little ruffle added to the bottom of the skirt but decided to remove that as I couldn’t get the length to suit me with it on. It has inseam pockets and I added waist ties to pull it in at the waist.

This is the second time I’ve made the Feliz dress and I love it. The first time a made a straight size 10 with no modifications. I’m 5’8’’ and find the bodice and skirt length perfect for me with no adjustments. I’ll insert a picture of my first ‘un-hacked’ version too. I would say the it’s a relatively straight skirt which I find slightly restrictive at the hem when striding out so if you prefer a fuller skirt you could just widen the hem part of the pattern and even out the side seam.
