Buy the Denim Button-Up Skirt sewing pattern from Anna Allen. This is a basic denim skirt with buttons going up the front and two front patch pockets. The waistband sits at the natural (high) waist or a bit below, and the skirt is quite fitted. This pattern is appropriate for intermediate sewers.

Suggested fabrics: Denim, jean fabric, canvas, cotton. Feel free to use denim with a little stretch, however the finished garment may end up with slightly larger measurements and may not be quite as form-fitting.

Fabric requirements: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/4 yd (1.2 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 yd (0.7 m).

Sizing: 00 – 20 (approx. UK 6 – 16). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Matching thread; sewing machine needle for denim or heavyweight fabric; six 5/8″ buttons or however many you like.
