Buy the Child/Teen Olita Swimsuit sewing pattern from Petits D’om. Olita is a one-piece swimsuit. Version A has a round neckline, lower at the back than at the front. Version B has a round neckline at the front and straps that meet in the middle of the back. Each version can be embellished with ruffles, around the neckline for version A, and on the straps for version B. This swimsuit can be sewn with a sewing machine or an overlocker.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Lycra. Choose a fabric with at least 10% elastane, combined with polyamide or nylon, and 4-way stretch. You will also need swimsuit lining (or you can replace the swimsuit lining with a light fine jersey).

Fabric requirements: 

Lycra: 140 cm wide fabric: Version A, 60 – 90 cm // Version B, 75 – 110 cm.

Swimsuit lining: 20 x 20 cm.

If you wish to cut the ruffles in a contrasting fabric: Lycra (height x width): Version A, 25 x 60 cm // Version B, 30 x 80 cm.

If you wish to cut the bias binding in a contrasting fabric: Lycra: Minimum 110 cm wide fabric: 10 cm.

Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Jersey (ballpoint) needle; 100% polyester thread; woolly nylon thread (optional); 6 – 9 mm wide rubber elastic, 2 – 3.2 m.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; print-at-home pattern (11 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet). This pattern has layers so you can print only the size(s) you need.
