the top you didn’t know you needed!

This new release by Charlotte Emma patterns is exactly the garment I wanted to go over the top of shirts, blouses, dresses etc as another layer but without sleeves or too much bulk. It has the details I wanted-a deep V neckline, roomy-without-being-baggy armholes, two length options and an interesting split hem. It doesn’t take a lot of fabric, I used 90cms to make a size 14 with no mods plus I think you could use ribbing for the neck and hem too. The instructions are nice and clear plus lots of other useful/essential information as well. If you aren’t a knitter this is an ideal pattern to keep your bod warm in no time at all, and definitely a wardrobe workhorse!
