Buy the B6968 Infants’ Bunting, Jumpsuit, Shirt, Diaper Cover, Hat, Bib, Mittens, Booties and Blanket sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Loose-fitting buntings A, B or jumpsuit C have neckband, front zipper, tab with snap, and long sleeves with cuffs. View B has a drawstring. View C has elastic at legs. Loose-fitting shirt has mock bands, snap closure, stitched hems and short sleeves. Diaper cover has partial elastic waist and legs with hook and loop closure. Hat has fold-back brim. Bib has hook and loop tape closure and purchased applique. Mittens and booties have elastic. Self-lined blanket. Diaper cover, bib and blanket have purchased trim.

Sizing: A (XXS–XS-S-M-L) approx. new born to 18 mths. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: One 3/8″ (1cm) hammer-on snap and zipper: 30″ (76cm) for A and 18″ (46cm) for B. Also for B: 1 1/2 yds. (1.4m) of 1/4″ (6mm) ribbon. C: 12″ (30cm) zipper, 3/4 yd. of 3/4″ (2cm) snap tape, 5/8 yd. (0.6m) of 1/4″ (6mm) elastic and one 3/8″ (1cm) hammer-on snap. D: Four 3/8″ (1cm) hammer-on snaps and seam binding. E: 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 1/8″ (3mm) elastic, 1/2″ (1.3cm) double fold bias tape, 1/4 yd. (0.3m) of 5/8″ (1.5cm) hook and loop tape. G: 1/8 yd. (0.2m) of 5/8″ (1.5cm) hook and loop tape, 1/2″ (1.3cm) double fold bias tape and approximately 1 1/4″ X 1 1/2″ (3cm X 4cm) purchased applique.
