Buy the 6042 Dress sewing pattern from Burda. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Wonderful dresses in retro looks for special occasions. Both will spotlight a pretty décolleté. View A features long sleeves, and view B is made up in two fabrics and has short sleeves. Both styles will require some sewing experience.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (10-12-14-16-18), approx. UK sizes A (8 – 14), based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: 24″ (60cm) invisible zipper.  B: 2 x 1 5/8″ (4 cm) D-rings. B: 2 1/8 – 2 1/2 yds. (1.85 – 2.20m) Belt fabric/ribbon.
