I’ve got frills…

This is my first Fibre Mood garment and I just love their stylish, modern patterns.

I’m a sucker for a statement sleeve and I love a frill, so this was right up my street.

I cut a size L according to my measurements and the fit is really relaxed, however as the hem finishes past the hips it’s a little snug. I think I may grade to a larger size at the hip next time or shorten the bodice so it finishes at the high hip.

It’s a pretty straight forward sew and comes together quickly. The only bit I had trouble getting my head around was attaching the triangle piece. However there is a fab IGTV video from the Live Sew-a-long, on their website, which explains it really well.

I’m already planning a dress hack ?
