Beautiful - Billy Trousers

I haven't taken a photo, but it's a great pattern.  The instructions are clear.  I made it with Pendleton wool.  I get complements every time I wear them.  They're just really stylish and classy.

Great pattern - Billy Trousers

This is a great pattern, very detailed instructions with photos for every step. It was my first time of trying a welt pocket and it turned out great. The pattern includes lots of nice finishing touches, with binding round the pockets and waistband and lots of detailed pattern markings to help achieve accurate sewing. I used a navy blue wool so the photo doesn’t really show up well, but if you are looking for a tailored, wide leg “man pant” style then I would highly recommend this pattern.

The most enjoyable garment I’ve sewn this year

I loved sewing these trousers, the instructions are thorough and include lots of lovely techniques so that your garment looks as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.  The pockets are bias bound, as are some seams, there’s a back welt pocket and fly front.  I made a size 14, grading up to a 16 at the waist, but made no other changes and am really happy with the fit.  I used a wool/viscose blend fabric with Autumn/Winter in mind, but they’d look just as good in Linen for the Summer.  If you’d like to see them in action I’ve recorded a review on my YouTube channel
